Solution to a User Problem

Today, I received the following problem from a user at our college:
'My screen is going different colours and it won’t stop what do I do?'
In my latest Blog post, you are going to be able to solve this problem if it happens to you when you are working on your computer.

Solution 1-
If this problem happens to you, please don’t worry;  as I should be able to get this working for you! There could be a number of different reasons as to why this problem has happened to you. Firstly, I would suggest that you check the VGA port (see picture 1 below) at the back of the computer to ensure that the VGA lead (see picture 2 below) is firmly inserted into the port.

Solution 2-

If the first solution was unsuccessful, then I would suggest that you check the colour settings of your monitor. On our network, you can access these settings by right clicking on the desktop and clicking on NVIDIA Control Panel (see picture 3). Then click 'Adjust video colour settings' and you are then able to adjust the colour settings. The settings should be Brightness- +50, Contrast- +50, Hue- +0 and Saturation- +50 (see picture 4 for the perfect settings).
